In particular we demand:

Inflation compensation for ALL!

We university employees and students are fighting for higher wages in the collective bargaining round of the federal states! We demand a 10.5 percent wage increase, but at least 500 euros for all employees covered by collective bargaining agreements. And we demand a significant increase in the BAföG rates. There needs to be a BAföG structural reform and needs rates that are sufficient to live on!

TVStud now! An end to precarious working conditions in science!

Short contract durations, chain fixed-term contracts and co-determination-free zones must be abolished! We need a fundamental reform of the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (WissZeitVG), a nationwide collective agreement for student employees (TVStud) and real co-determination rights by including student employees in the staff representation laws of the federal states.

For the funding of research and teaching!

Good research and teaching need stable basic funding, independent of third-party funds and project funding. We will no longer allow ourselves to be cut to the bone!
